GENTAMYCIN

COMPOSITION: Each 100 ml contains.

Gentamycin sulfate………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. 10 g

2-Pyrrolidone q.s………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. 100 ml

INDICATIONS:

Treatment of respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, gastrointestinal tract infections such as: enteritis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pneumonia, omphalitis, infectious coryza, metritis, septicemia in cattle, poultry.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

– Piglets, poultry: 1 ml/10 kg body weight.

– Pigs, cattle: 1 ml/10-15 kg body weight.

– Dogs, cats: 1 ml/20 kg body weight.

The recommended dose is given daily by I.M. or S.C.I for 2-3 days

CONTRAINDICATION:

– Contraindicated for animals with hepatic/renal impairment.

– Animals with known hypersensitivity to Gentamycin

WITHDRAWAL TIME:

– For meat: 7 days.

– For milk: 2 days.
